Lesson 8 - drawing our first cartoon - a dog!

It's time to draw our first cartoon! Let's get started.

step 1: draw the skull, and put in the eye and tilt line.    

step 2: draw in the muzzle using an oval shape. Remember to connect it to the eye line. 

step 3: draw the eyes on the eye line.   

step 4: put in the lower jaw.    

step 5: draw the neck and body.    

step 6: draw the front legs.    

step 7: draw the front feet.    

step 8: draw the back leg.  draw using a half circle.   

step 9: draw the back feet.  Make the back feet bigger than the front feet.

step 10: time to draw the tail.    

step 11: go back and draw the ears now.    

step 12: draw the nose, and a line through the middle of the body to show a tummy.

step 13: clean the drawing by erasing unwanted lines, put in eyebrows, darken the nose, and your done!!
